Customer Service We’re based in Evanston. Our shop is on Florence Avenue, and we’ve been working on homes in this town since 2005. That’s not a marketing line. It means we know the housing stock here better than most people know their own block.
Evanston has everything from small brick bungalows near Howard to large Victorians around the lakefront, plus all the multi-unit and condo buildings in between. We’ve painted in high-rises downtown, row houses near the university, and century-old homes along Sheridan Road where every window has six coats of paint built up over decades.
We’ve been members of the Evanston Chamber of Commerce since 2006. We sponsor local organizations like Y.O.U. Youth & Opportunity United, Foundation 65, and the YWCA Evanston/North Shore. This is our home, and the people here are our neighbors.

The plaster walls in older Evanston homes need specific prep. You can’t just slap paint over cracked plaster and expect it to hold. We scrape loose paint/plaster, apply fiberglass tape, skim coat where needed, prime with a bonding primer, and then apply finish coats. On trim work in older homes, we’ll often power-sand built-up paint layers before recoating to get a smooth result.
